My last one...

Well we are pretty sure Justus is going to be our last baby so I'm soaking in every moment. He is still nursing. I've tried feeding him babyfood a few times but he just gags A LOT and pukes it up. So he's not ready for the texture. I don't want to force him. I know he is getting all he needs from my milk. He's approx 21 lbs. now and just about to crawl. He rolls all over the house and is sitting up great! He has 2 teeth on the bottom and might have 2 top teeth very soon. He's not really on a set sleep schedule. Or a set feeding schedule. I pump sometimes for him if we're going somewhere. But most of the time I nurse him at home....whenever he wants to. Justus Andrew....my baby....I love him so much words cannot even explain it. He's so squishy and chunky and everywhere we go someone has to pinch his fat thighs. I wish he could stay this little forever.

All Smiles.....almost

The boys are all dressed up for church and Jonah refused to get in the picture.
I did get some cute ones of Jacob, Jaron & Justus.
and this is where Jonah sat

Football & Forts

Jacob wanted to play football so he made his "line of scrimage" with two golf clubs.
Then Jonah joined in the fun!

Trying to make a fort with pillows and 3 little brothers isn't always easy but with a little determination anything is possible.

Cool Treats

The boys were eating popsicles and Daddy thought Justus might want to taste his (it might have something to do with the way Justus was watching Chris eat his popsicle)
So he let him have a quick lick of it...

In our bubble...

there are no bad guys
no guns
no drugs
no "bad drinks"
no smoking
no ugly words
we are comfortable and our boys are safe with us.
in our bubble...
we can be ourselves
we lounge in our pjs all day
we are safe...

But its when we step outside our bubble....
it can be scary
as a mother I want to keep my boys "under my wing"
I can't stand the thought of something happening to them on the bus or at school
We can pray for God to protect them
but we cannot always hide the sinfulness of the world
they have to be exposed eventually
but it's our responsibility to
"train up a child in the way he should go
and when he is old he will not depart from it"
Proverbs 22:6

***My prayer is "God help me to be a good trainer"

Random Thoughts...

Jaron wants to know "what's taking so long for school?" 24 more days!
I am addicted to a new "Gardens of Time" game on facebook.
Chris eats a large canister of raisins in just a few days.
Jacob discovered he loves frozen "gogurt"
Justus has 2 teeth that came in almost exactly the same time.
Jonah is definately ~ completely potty trained.
It's raining here today and much cooler than it has been.
Our microwave imploded!
I need to go to the dentist.
Jacob needs to go to the dentist.
Chris's truck isn't acting right.
The devil is trying to discourage us...but God is still in control.

Just a swingin'

Playing outside is so much fun! Justus loved the swing. His toes were dragging the ground a little so he got dirty~for the first time.

Library Love

The boys have been participating in the summer reading program at the library so we were there the other day and I just had to get a picture of this, That boy bear could not help himself.

I'll Fly Away

Jonah loves to sing in the car and I had to capture the moment with my cell phone so the video quality isn't great. ENJOY!

Eat Mor Chikin

Oh the things we will do for free food! We got an email about Chic Fil A's "Cow Appreciation Day" so we decided to do it. It was fun for the boys.

And Justus wanted to join in the fun too!

So he is not ready for chicken but he did enjoy the wooden (toy) chicken leg I let him chew on.

Cuddling Cousins

My sister came to visit from Florida and the boys got to spend time with their little cousin Shelby.
We took them to Monkey Joes (indoor inflatables) and we just couldn't get everyone to be still for a picture. Jonah wouldn't even get near that giant monkey.
We celebrated Jaron's birthday with them. The little girl in the back is Cari~I've been babysitting her almost 2 years.

Shelby really loved Justus and we finally got a good picture of them all smiling.
They were playing in the bedroom and I told them on the count of 3 everyone JUMP!
And then we cleaned up and put in Thomas so they all got a cup of milk and settled down with their blanket.

Independence Day!

Justus is celebrating his independence in a walker by exploring the kitchen.

We only had a few fireworks this year and the boys watched Daddy light them safely from inside.
