He thinks he's grown

Jonah was begging to sit at the counter so I put him up there with a marker and paper...He was so proud.

And one day I went out of the living room for a minute and when I came back in this is what I found. He was dangling his legs watching tv. So cute!

And the other night after getting out of the bath he discovered his nose holes!!!

Dentist Visit

They were playing with "Moon sand"
They were dressed up for picture day at school.
Jacob went to the dentist for his cleaning and he does not have any cavities. He also got a report card today and had all S's with the exception of one E in Physical Ed. And he got scored above average in reading. So he's doing great in school.

Dental Issues

Well the boys went for their cleaning at the Fun Dentist again. Jaron's two front teeth have more decay. He has already had them filled once and now they are suggesting we just pull them. They are very thin teeth and fragile so trying to "Rebuild" them would be very difficult. I consulted his doctors in Boston and they suggested trying to rebuild it if possible but if the decay has progressed to infection then we need to pull them. Infection in teeth cannot be helped by antibiotics and it will spread to other teeth. Jaron's teeth aren't infected~yet so I think I am going to call them in the morning to and ask them to try and rebuild it. It might break off and not work but we atleast need to try. The dentist in Boston said that pulling teeth this early could mean bone loss but if it has to be done then do it.

Here's a close up of his teeth. He is missing the to incisors beside his front teeth. I guess they'll never be there not really sure. His top teeth are very sensitive and he does NOT like having his teeth brushed. We have started a more agressive approach for his oral hygiene, incorporating floss and flouride mouth was to his daily routine. He does not like it but it has to be done.

They love playing with the moon sand.
Jaron loves school and still goes every day. He has good days and bad. I am trying not to stress about it. Sometimes he will not eat ANYTHING for 6 hours while he's there and other days he will eat everything they offer, lunch and snack. So they reward him and so do I when he has a good day. I still give him 3 pediasures daily to make sure he's getting proper nutrition.

Seven Years Old!

I can't believe he's already 7. I decorated the night before with lots of balloons tacked to the ceiling in the living room and streamers in the kitchen. When he got up to pee in the middle of the night he said "mommy I'M SEVEN" it was so cute because with his eyes squinting and half asleep he still saw the decorations and realized it was his birthday. He said several times that day "I can't believe I'm seven Mommy" It was so adorable. He's 4ft. 1 in. And in the 95% for his age. How will I discipline him when he's taller than me? I am only 5'1" so it won't be long. Well Jacob was born on my mom's birthday so they came over and we had pizza and cake that day.
Jacob has grown up so fast and he's so smart. He can read and tie his shoes and he loves to help mommy with Jonah when he's crying or with the other babies I keep. He's gonna make a good husband one day. I am so sad to think of him grown but I feel honored that God would allow me to be a mother. I try to raise my boys to know the Lord. We teach them what the Bible says about how we should live our lives. Jacob took it upon himself to give $2 of his birthday money for offering sunday and he requested prayer by raising his hand "Pray for more people to get saved". He's so sensitive and sweet. I can't imagine the day he's too embarrassed to hug me or tell me he loves me in front of others.

Superman!!!

He loves Blue's Clues & Baby Einstein
Superman PJ's...not sure why he's making that face...sick of the pictures I guess

This is what happens when you give him a bowl of mashed potatoes and he uses his hand to get them in his mouth...

kisses for daddy.....We are a little concerned about his speech....he's only saying a few words "ball" "dada" "more". The doctor said if he doesn't start talking by 18 mo. we might need to have him evaluated for speech. Ugh!
